Aries is a Cologne-based producer and Moon is a Canadian vocalist together they form Moon and Aries, a globe-spanning duo specializing in gentle electronica that’s moody, delicate, and rewarding. ‘Firenight’ goes down a more minimalist path with its percussive synths that flutter about over a steady backbone of a beat.
Jordana Moon brings us a recognizably passionate delivery that simmers at a low altitude that matches the atmosphere spun by Aries’s synths and grooves, singing about a rise from the ashes, a phoenix-like rebirth of somebody refusing to fall behind to make things right.
