You’ll find everything you’d expect from a Christmas song with “It’s Getting Near Christmas” but there is so much more…Mick amps up the melodic essence with this one, maybe even veering off the norm a little bit, but for great musical value.
You’ll hear the Christmas-y sounds and beats, but the melodies here are so much more elevated, that it feels like this could be 2023’s anthemic Christmas song.
You can hear not only the Christmas sounds…but you can feel the happiness shine brighter the more you go into the song.
Mick really captures the essence of this beautifully, cozy and ‘magical time of year’…that’s a line in the song actually, it’s a really warm musical experience that I wouldn’t be surprised if “It’s Getting Near Christmas” is playing in the stores everywhere…even being featured in movies and TV…it’s excellently paced, composed and performed.
