A multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter and part-time practicing doctor MYRY combines melancholic pop with alternative electronica, infusing her music with a unique vocal timbre she was given through a cross-country upbringing in Belgium, Italy and the UK. Debuting in 2020, MYRY’s first few singles were produced by James Kenosha (Rudimental, Charlotte Plank, Birdy, RHODES), helping her to produce a sound championed by BBC Introducing and featured in several music blogs.

MYRY’s most recent release is the new single ‘The Weakest Seams’. Bringing together softly driving rhythms with pulsating electronic sound design and a vocal performance that sits somewhere between angelic and haunting, MYRY composes a single that steadily progresses through a spacey odyssey. Featuring the percussive handpan melodies of Valentino Fanizza, the music gains otherworldly energy, unsure whether the emotions are light or dark beyond the haze.

The artist shares an insight into the track, ”This is a song about the fragile yet powerful emotions awakened into each other during toxic relationships (‘it wasn’t right’) and how they can be blinding. It is a song about accepting that things can be beautiful and yet have an expiration date; when there are ‘weak seams’ in the fabric, it eventually tears.”
