…”they don’t make them like that anymore”…

This is the first sentence my brain uttered to myself when I heard Rusty Reid’s single “Rio Frio”…an acoustic epic that both sounds and feels absolutely mesmerizing…nothing short of a masterpiece.

“Rio Frio” is the kind of anthemic song that has the power to bring people together…the Seattle based artist somehow knew a formula to people hearts and souls and made a song with that formula…the result is a heartwarming anthemic ballad that shares a lot of DNA with some of the great music pieces…putting Rusty Reid among icons in the music world…and taking the audiences to a very warm melodic world.

The instrumentation in “Rio Frio” is one of its strong points…accordion, folk guitars, the raw and sensitive drums and of course Rusty’s super charismatic and iconic vocal performance, elevating the experience to another level.

The awesome musicians that made this melody come to life are…

Rusty on vocals and electric guitar

Steve Beasley on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, accordion, bass and backing vocals

Darin Watkins on drums

Rusty’s musical catalog is not to be missed, he always managed to capture the heart and mind of the audiences…if one of Rusty’s songs come on, it’s impossible to do anything other than be mesmerized with melodic perfection.

“Rio Frio” is an absolute joy to experience, but it’s a must…a must, to check Rusty Reid’s discography…you want this music in your life, I didn’t know that I needed it too till I experienced it.

Wishing all the best to Rusty and the band, you’re all absolutely awesome…we can’t wait to see what you guys come up with next, what kind of emotional experience will you take us on.

Cheers!
