Thy Veils boasts a diverse range of talent: Daniel Dorobantu (keys, electronics, lyrics, production, visual), and the three vocalists that bring their unique voices to the table: Alira Mun, Maria Hojda, and Manuela Marchis. The instrumental tapestry is woven by Petre Ionutescu (trumpet), Ana Pieloiu (guitar), Mircea Ardeleanu Jr. (bass, vocal, percussion), along with Anuka Kontridze (tabla) and Radu Pieloiu (drums, percussion). The final sonic touches are mixed and mastered by Attila Lukinich.

The journey begins with the eight-and-a-half-minute-long track “A High Age,” which, once it hits its first note, will give you goosebumps. The hunting vocal performance manages to kickstart the saga. Followed by more bright numbers with a mix of psychedelic melody and bouncy beats like the shiny “Sunvault” and the characteristic “Influx” with poetic lyrics that paint vivid pictures of the sun and moon.
“Upstream” opens with a dreamy intro that soon turns into chilling and majestic vibes crafting “the place of our dreams,” while the title track “Next Forever” takes the chills to a spooky level with the glitchy ambiance, breezy electronic elements, and haunting yet warm, captivating vocals. “Fluttering Light,” with the driven percussion and tabla, offers a spiritual ritual feel, making you feel the serenity of inner light and peace. “Heart in Wonder” carries the same spirituality and musically vibrant feel as the previous track, with the lyrics feeling like a magical spell bringing love to the air, gathering lovers on earth together, and offering a heavenly aura.
“Morph” sounds like the fly-to-heaven attempt took us to another planet where we are lost in “skies like highs.” It has a sultry and edgy feel. The almost ten-minute track “Luna” ranks as the longest. You’ll feel like you’re breathing under the ocean, seeing magical creatures for the first time, and being hypnotized by harmonic sirens. It’s incredible how the band was able to craft a solid story with the fascinating composition, humming vocal delivery, and lyrics that many won’t understand but rather feel. The jazzy number with the divine vocals, “Mountain Fire,” ends the journey, leaving you mesmerized and thriving for more.
