Today is a very special day, we have a symphonic EP…lush orchestration, beautiful melodies, and tasty harmonies…and on top of that, it has a very high sentimental value to the composers too, the music we’re about to embark on its journey today has been made in memory of their friend who the world lost and who was an adventurer in his rights, he loved to sail and explore…

Today’s musical journey is a 4 track EP titled “Sailing Symphony” by Klein & Jamison, the Arizona-based composers.

They kick off the EP with the first track “Sailaway”…a rich and tasteful symphony that jump-starts the album and the story hidden between the notes…

… mind-blowing dynamics and strong thematic presence with a heart full of melodies and instantly hooking tunes…

The second stop of the journey is “Doldrums”…which is shorter in length and completely diverse in emotion…it goes for a more mellow and soundtrack-ish feeling, with some whimsical moments and magical ebbs and flows.

…then thunder crashes down and the third track plays, “Storm” starts like the tame ocean, but then builds up into a colossal wave, the music perfectly captures the tension that is birthed out for a fight for survival…

…the “Storm” fades…and we go into a new and bright scenery with the last stop of this voyage, “Ahoy”…the music here uplifts and breathes hope with melancholy…it feels like you’ve overcome a mountain, but across the journey, you’ve lost loved ones…but then again, you’re here and you can cherish their memories and remind the world of their bravery…

…Jim Klein and Ian Jamison manage to tell completely picture-perfect stories only through music, brilliant composition, and orchestration are seen and felt in every little nook and cranny of the music…wherever you look, you’ll see the music shine brighter than the stars.

“Sailing Symphony” is one of the best EPs I’ve ever heard and experienced, it changed my mood and how I felt at that moment in time…and whenever I play it back, it does the same to me over and over.

“Sailing Symphony” is not to be missed at all costs.

Wishing the brilliant artists all the best and can’t wait to hear more from them.

Cheers!
