Manchester Based artist Nickon Faith released a new dynamic EP titled “Visions”…and if you’re a fan of EDM go right now and give it a listen…you owe it to yourself…

The UK has graced the world with many iconic musicians, in many different areas of the sonic realm…if we start to name some of these artists, it will never end…and now, more new and modernized artists are contributing to this list…and Nickon Faith is further establishing himself as one of the greats of EDM with his latest EP “Visions”.

“Visions” has been released through the label ‘Troubleshoot’ and it is its fourth release…

The EP has 4 tracks…3 of which are originals with the fourth one being a remix by Jon Selbo…

“Visions” kicks things off with the EP’s title track…

With its storytelling introduction…”Visions” kicks things off to a great start…

The energy that hits you in the face once everything starts up is definitely palpable…

…beats full of energy and some technical beat works here too, melodic lines that tell a story…

Such a great start.

Taking your second step into the EP you’ll reach “In Bloom”…

The track starts out with more energy…to keep it going…

This one has more of a trance feeling to it…the sounds and compositions gives you that feeling not just of trance music, but that of an actual trance…it sucks you into one.

…it also mixes things up with a very engaging percussive section…

Delving deeper into the EP, we find ourselves at the third track, “Don’t Make Me Wait”…which is the last one in the originals, before going into the fourth and last track, that is the remix track.

“Don’t Make Me Wait” is the only track that has vocals on it…and the vocals are utilized in a way to make it more into a musical element rather than an actual vocal line.

This is done in a balanced manner to keep you engaged while also having minimal lyrics…very minimal…the lyrics are the 4 words in the track title actually…it’s refreshing seeing an artist challenging himself and making the most out of it like this…

…Jon Selbo’s remix of “Don’t Make Me Wait” takes it into another direction completely though…

It focuses more on the energy, amplifies it…leaves some of the main lead vocals out of it…but still uses it in more in the background…leveraging it into a sound effect more than the main focus…and focuses heavily on the energy and beat of the track…this is hardcore EDM stuff right here.

Nickon Faith, we wish you all the best in both your professional and personal careers…you deserve it.

Can’t wait to see what you have for us next…we’ll be on the lookout.

Cheers!
