Major Kami releases yet again some really mesmerizing original songs and a Bowie cover, all an ode to the ultimate fascination for David Bowie. The electro-pop EP in the name of ‘Wild Bo’ will drop on the 3rd of February, all the way from Bordeaux, France. There is just so much thought put into the creation of music that will have made Bowie dance in his grave from how magically wonderful the pieces are. Just like Bowie, they are intense, out of this world, lyrically competitive, and really give the Bowie vibe in a modern, electro twist and Kami’s beautiful, and definitely powerful voice.

Before anything, it must be established that this is a high-quality production. The musical arrangement, sound, and style, it’s all a beautiful reincarnation of David Bowie in a pink and passionate female voice. All the songs are medium paces and sometimes transition to slow, really making you feel every inch of the song. This EP is gold and diamonds to the ears. Dynamic and encompassing lots of drama and flair, the songs are also extremely emotional, which ripples into your soul.

The overall sound of the EP is like riding a colorful unicorn in a golden sky. It’s magical, peaceful, emotive, and exotic. You will be left with a feeling of empty happiness and hope. You will not hear something like anywhere else because Major kami has a special sonic vision. Also, nothing is as fresh as music inspired by phenomenal artists. While the song Modern Love is a cover, it is a new way of recreating, and no one would’ve pulled it off so well as Kami. With a beautiful, quiet soundscape, there is soft piano, echoing sounds, magical and intense sound effects, drums followed by clapping, and a beautiful saxophone solo. The songs feel synthy, and have ethereal soundscapes, with the musical arrangements full of soft piano and xylophone, hardcore basslines that move the beat and give it a darker soul, violin, and subtle use of drums but still giving intensity without overwhelming the listeners. Major Kami’s voice is so soothing and just pierces through your soul in a strange way. Give this Ep a listen for a different experience of Bowie’s vibes.
