Andrew Bees just released his latest single ‘Hail and Blaze’, a powerful song with a defiant message and purpose. Bees is not a typical musician who likes to write music, he’s not just a performer, entertainer, or even just following his passion.
Andrew Bees is revolutionary and a patriot who believes in the higher purpose and meaning of life. The artist refers to bees and compares them to our way of life; he believes that “this is the music of pollination”, where we spread out (pollinate) the world with love, this is how we all connect and how we are all dependent on each other in a cycle that is powered by love, peace, and happiness through music. He believes that loving ourselves, one another, and our surroundings is the greatest accomplishment of all. He also believes that music is the best way to leave a legacy and to pass his ‘Bees philosophy’ that we always must keep going and work on our purpose even if we’ve had a bad day or phase, “The bees don’t put up with foolishness” and “The Beehive is set on the task to pollinate the world with love and joy to grow in the next generation.” This is how he chose to pass the strong values and good vibes to the next generations, through music.
His new single is a beautiful showcase of the Rasta tradition and Reggae music with a hint of rock, combining cultures and genres to create a captivating sound. It’s the 2nd song in his yet-to-be-released album “Real Life”, with a guitar riff and a solo that’ll blow your mind away, a Santana-like style that just gives you the chills, played by Valter Vincenti on lead guitar with Andrew diamond on guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals. Bingy on drums and percussion, Devon Bradshaw on bass, directed by the manager, agent, project manager, and artistic director Robert Oyugi of Ujama Designs.
The whole album was recorded at Nice n Up, and AXX studios, and mixed by Andrew Seidel at SUB80 who also produced it under his stage name Andrew Diamond. The album is executive produced by Bees himself under O’Neil Beckford, his legal name and it’s the first project produced through his BeesHive Music, his own record label that he founded back in 2019. He’ll be collaborating with LAW Records for the distribution of his album to be released in July.
