Steve Maddock, the Vancouver artist, singer, songwriter, and educator has released his latest single “Holy Man”, the first single from his upcoming album Jack Of All Trades…a modern jazz instant hit that is a mood-setter with excellent musicality.

The album is a joint venture between Maddock and Mike Reveley, a former Vancouver jazz arranger and composer who founded the Capilano University Jazz Studies Program. The song, which features an 8-piece band and a solo by Vancouver jazz guitarist Bill Coon, tells the story of a man seeking redemption with the help of a strong woman.

Maddock is not just an amazingly versatile and talented vocalist, he has been teaching private voice, vocal jazz masterclass, studio performance, vocal improvisation, and ear training at Capilano University…on top of all of that, he also works as an adjudicator and clinician at various Canadian music festivals…we’re in good hands.

“Holy Man” is a spectacle on all levels…from the composition to the arrangement for the 8-piece band to the guitar solo and all of the amazing jazz musicians…it’s just the perfect little gift to your ears and soul…you owe it to yourself to feel that good.

Make sure to check out Steve’s latest brilliant single “Holy Man” right away…actually, right now.

Wishing all the best to the brilliant jazz minds, Steve Maddock and Mike Reveley.

Cheers!
