“It has the theme of a sort of Super Hero anime scene, the character is powering up and fighting the enemy,” shares James Fiori. “It is melodic and original and has a lot of power, like the name of it, Power.”
The recording took place at home, a meaningful place for James, using GarageBand, where he played every instrument layer individually himself with no samples. Completely self-taught musically, with no lessons or training, James plays by ear, adding to the authenticity of his work.
“Me and a friend both quoted from a film quote ‘I have the power,’ when I first completed it,” adds James, reflecting on a memorable moment in his journey.
