Manpreet’s latest single is the captivating heartbreak of ‘unresolved’. The single builds on delicate atmospheres, with gentle acoustic instrumentation and soft synth hums forming the foundation for an evocative vocal performance, Manpreet pouring emotion into each word. As the single progresses string arrangements begin to glow, elegantly floating around the peaceful vocal performance. As emotions rise, the listener is drawn further into the captivating haze, guided into a poignant and defenceless final moment.
Manpreet shares a comment on the track, ”‘unresolved’ is a guitar lullaby I wrote telling a tale of innocent, undefined love; like watching sunrises in cars parked on streets, and feeling a way you never have before in your life. With sweet hopefulness, doubt creeps in as silence follows a moment you thought was significant.
This is the fourth single from a concept EP close to my heart; with each song embodying a significant part of the story surrounding the EP. This body of work has been developed in a home studio, and co-produced entirely with my boyfriend.”
