Performing across the UK, collaborating with and supporting the likes of Digital Farm Animals, Ben Haenow and Scouting for Girls, and generating over 800,000 streams globally, Max Sarre has emerged as a fresh new pop talent. Hailing from London, his career stems from the 2021 EP release In My Mind, further projects cementing his sense of synth-pop and vocal-driven anthems. At just 22, Max has plenty of time to grow, but he wastes no time in delivering great music, time after time.
It’s not rare for Max Sarre to use his signature pop sound to spread positivity, but with his new single ‘Brother’, Max leaps, rooting the track in praise for his sibling in an anthemic ode. Guided by bright synths and infectious vocal melodies, the steady bass pulse and crack of the snare provide a forward-moving, cheery atmosphere for Max’s lyricism.
Max speaks about the ups and downs of his relationship with his brother but is quick to highlight how important his sibling has become, delivering a momentous pop track that lights up the room whilst paying homage to a family love that he holds dear, a special release.
Speaking to how ‘Brother’ represents his future music, Max adds, “’Brother’ is one of my favourite songs I’ve ever written, and it’s the first single from my new era! I wrote it as an ode to my brother; despite all the times we fight and ‘hate’ one another, I know that we’ll always be there for each other through thick and thin. If you have a sibling, this song is for you.”
