J’Moris Unleashes Raw and Unfiltered Energy on New Album Toxic Lovespell, Out Valentine’s Day

0

The heart and soul of Hillsboro, Texas, prolific storyteller and rapper J’Moris triumphantly returns on Valentine’s Day with his most raw and unhinged album to date, boldly titled “Toxic Lovespell”. Walking the line at the edge of all things lyrically, this powerful new release tethers between confessional, mourning and not giving a damn, letting go and running completely loose. And you might just enjoy this man when he’s running loose. J’Moris has perfected his flow and vocal craft, knowing when guns need to be blazing, much like Iggy Pop has done over the years – when you listen to “Toxic Lovespell”, you hear unhinged as an art unto itself. The album features beats by Supamario Beatz.

“Toxic Lovespell, is the raw unrestrained version of me. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Toxic Lovespell is the embodiment of striving for perfection but falling short and learning your imperfections are perfectly blended for you. Love and life is full of highs and lows, learning to navigate them is the toxic peaceful bliss you create. Once you understand and accept it, you learn that limitations and expectations are one in the same. Do you breakthrough or conform to…. Choice is yours.” J’Moris

J’Moris has been consistently prolific with his music and has recently launched the Life Outside Lyrics podcast, which he hosts and features close friends and family, Ticc, and D. Hewitt.

The Words I Didn’t Say by Fabio Cicala

0

Fabio Cicala’s latest single, The Words I Didn’t Say, is an emotional odyssey that fuses classical guitar virtuosity with a profound narrative of self-reflection and personal growth. Rooted in a serendipitous encounter on a film set, the song chronicles Cicala’s internal conflict as he grappled with a powerful yet unrequited connection. This tension—between the allure of new possibilities and the steadfastness of existing commitments—forms the core of the track’s poignant storytelling.

Recorded in the iconic Abbey Road and Soho Sonic Studios, The Words I Didn’t Say is part of Rude Awakening, a collection of nine meditative compositions performed on a Cordoba F7 Paco guitar, tuned to 432 Hz for a transcendent listening experience. Cicala’s meticulous attention to sonic detail elevates the piece into a kaleidoscope of genres, seamlessly blending baroque influences, neoclassical elegance, and 1970s progressive rock psychedelia.

The track’s origins are as poetic as its melody: during a rehearsal of George Michael’s Careless Whisper, Cicala’s thoughts wandered to his muse, leading his fingers to conjure a dramatic, chromatic riff that set the foundation for the song. Through fast-paced passages and minimalist yet intricate phrasing, the composition captures the delicate interplay of longing, restraint, and self-discovery.

By channeling his journey into hypnotic vibrations, Fabio Cicala crafts a soundscape that not only relaxes and inspires but also invites introspection. The Words I Didn’t Say stands as a testament to his ability to alchemize personal experiences into universal art, making it a captivating addition to his repertoire.

For fans of evocative storytelling and masterful musicianship, this release is not to be missed!

‘Perfectly’ marks the fourth single since Dominick Keath‘s return last year, paving the way for his upcoming full album set to release in 2026. Influenced by iconic bands like Deep Purple, Whitesnake, and Van Halen, Keath’s musical style resonates throughout his work. Progràmma by Kama Tala

0

Recall the 80s artists who produced memorable pop hits while incorporating a solid rock music foundation? Kama Tala is back with another infectious track called “Progràmma.” Let’s explore more about it below.

From the very first guitar melody, I sensed we had another hit on our hands. Kama Tala is an American singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer, with a name derived from Sanskrit. His musical influences encompass neo-soul, rock, surf, and contemporary pop. Just like the other songs we’ve previously enjoyed, we’re diving into “Progràmma,” which showcases a new level of mastery from this talented artist.

The expressive vocals, memorable guitar melodies, and the atmospheric 80s keyboard sounds all contribute to a fantastic vibe for every listener. Oh! Have I mentioned the solo? IT’S UNIQUE AND IMPRESSIVE! In fact, I typically gravitate towards guitar solos featuring this particular tone.

According to Kama Tala, the song was created last January form A to Z. As he emphasised; “It was one of those tunes that just clicked instantly.” “Progràmma,” created in January 2025, features a four-on-the-floor drum beat, followed by a chord progression and intro lick. After recording, Tala collaborated with producer Zilchman, who suggested changes to the chorus melody. Tala added lyrics and recorded a demo. Zilchman enhanced the track with a strong bassline and a spacey element in the breakdown, inspired by 1980s pop, to create a captivating hook.

In conclusion, I want to reinforce what I shared in my earlier writings about Kama Tala‘s music. I truly believe we are on the verge of witnessing the emergence of a future pop-rock star. Cheers to that!

‘SIS (She’s Something) (Amapiano)’ by KARMA

0

The Memphis-based girl group, KARMA has just launched their Amapiano remix of ‘SIS (She’s Something),’ an amazing rhythmic anthem celebrating women. Let’s explore more details below.

Usually, girls’ musical groups have their own flavour. Remembering bands like Spice Girls, Destiny’s Child, and the Pussycat Dolls among many others. Since KARMA’s original release of ‘SIS (She’s Something)’ it’s been highly acclaimed by critics and fans alike. The band thought of releasing an Amapiano Remix to the track. The song celebrates women’s strength and resilience in various roles. The Amapiano Remix enhances this message with an infectious beat, blending signature harmonies with vibrant rhythms for an empowering and exhilarating sound.

“We wanted to bring a new energy to ‘SIS’—one that makes you move but still carries that message of love and recognition for women everywhere,” says KARMA. “Amapiano is a genre that connects people through rhythm and soul, and this remix feels like the perfect way to take ‘SIS’ to a whole new level.”

Musically, I found their vocal style enchanting—both ethereal and deeply emotive—capturing the true essence of the track. The piano melodies are mesmerizing, and the rhythms are absolutely stunning. As you might be aware, Amapiano originated from the blend of kwaito and house music in South Africa, rising to fame about a decade ago. This genre merges aspects of deep house, gqom, jazz, soul, and lounge music, characterized by its lush synths and expansive, rhythmic basslines. What truly sets their music apart is the incorporation of original genre elements, enhanced by their vibrant storytelling and influences from hip-hop and R&B.

KARMA’s new single, ‘SIS (She’s Something) (Amapiano),’ is an anthem honoring the selfless roles of women as mothers, friends, sisters, wives, and daughters. The song aims to resonate with all women, celebrating their strength and societal contributions. Cheers to that!

BomBaGloCk by N.U.N.O.

0

From Portugal, the US to the Netherlands brings a distinctive musical flavor influenced by his diverse background. Under the artistic name of N.U.N.O., he expresses his perspectives through his single “BomBaGloCk,” which reflects his worldview, as he has shared.

N.U.N.O. was eager to share his entire story in his press kit, a rarity among emerging artists. I admire his boldness in opening up about his family and childhood experiences. I feel it’s essential to include his words, as they provide valuable insight into his music for the listeners. As he stated; “My name is Nuno, born in Lisbon on April 29, 1978. After my father’s passing when I was 4, my mother and I lived alone, sometimes with an aunt. At 11, I moved to Rotterdam, initially alone, and my mother joined me later after remarrying a Dutchman. The first months were challenging due to the language barrier, but I became fluent in six months. I entered high school honor roll but dropped out in 11th grade, seeking a life of exploration. I began smoking weed daily and writing rhymes, having written poems since age 5, and soon started recording tracks. At 17, I moved to Boston to live with my grandmother but returned to Rotterdam after 11 months due to feelings of isolation and missing the streets. Regretting my decision led to depression until I returned to Boston at 20. This time, I wasn’t welcomed, but I worked, spent time with cousins, and turned 21 there. On my birthday, I faced challenges buying alcohol because I looked younger.”

From a musical perspective, the track is truly outstanding. I appreciated that it’s a home recording, and I was particularly impressed by the power of his voice, which conveys deep emotions. While I enjoyed the smoothness of the music that complements his vocals, I must admit that his singing style resonated with me even more in this piece. Returning to his life, as I previously mentioned, “BomBaGloCk” embodies his worldview. Let’s delve deeper into his story to discover how his experiences have influenced both his music and life. “I returned to Rotterdam in May 1999. That’s when my whole world changed. Let’s just say, the haters really got to hating, a lot of them. I was left behind in the Netherlands since mom and her husband left for Portugal in 2000, leaving me all alone. A year later I was homeless. In and out of jail, twice and sent to a psychiatric clinic for the criminally insane. On August 1, 2005 I was stabbed 7 times over a silly argument. Both lungs collapsed and I nearly died. I was kicked out of the hospital after 4 days even though I couldn’t even get out of bed. So, I had myself committed, after 2 weeks in a shelter. In that clinic, and this is almost 2 months later, I struck up a conversation with the receptionist and ended up demanding affection, going all the wrong ways about it. They hit me with attempted rape and determined I wasn’t fit to stand trial. I was sent to jail for a year and a half and, since then I’ve been in psychiatric clinics for the criminally insane. It’s going on 20 years, now. So I make my music and relax, thinking about better days.” N.U.N.O. uttered.

When you explore “BomBaGloCk,” prepare to be impressed by its incredible diversity. You’ll appreciate the Jamaican influences, particularly in the single style, along with elements of rap and hip-hop from artists like Public Enemy, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and many others. In my opinion, if N.U.N.O. focused more on his music while maintaining the same level of artistry, we could be on the verge of discovering a new hip-hop star. Cheers to that!
