Lotte is a Munich based artist whose electronica leanings have led her to her previous collab with DJ Herr Wolf, creating together ‘Christmas House’ which was released to good reception near the end of the last year. This time, ‘Remember (Boom Boom Boom)’ is a dreamy piece of pop trance with spectral reverb on Lotte’s wordless vocals. Quite breezy, the song is particularly about that one piece of music that each couple call their own, that idea that there is one song that would represent each love relationship. A very touching idea, and just as novel.
The execution is thankfully just as breezy. The song’s light and airy production makes the pounding beat lighter and easier on the senses, just like Lotte’s delightful melodies, and just like she said herself, this song doesn’t need too many words, as each listener’s memories would suffice. ‘Remember’ is an amazing follow up for Lotte and her co-conspirator. A song that displays her sensual voice, her ethereal leanings, blended into her electronic ones, in a delightful musical display.
