After years of working in the music scene in England with various projects, Jack Goldstein is releasing his latest solo album “The world is ending, I Love You”. In this 13-track avant-garde album, he decided to invite his friends where they can collaborate with him on a project that is so personal to him.
There are vocal parts in different songs from Aiden Canaday, Blanca Regina, Cameron AG, Charlie Hannah, Clementine Blue, Georgie Hurst, Jimi Tormé, Jonah Falco, Mark Bandola, Max Blansjaar, Max Levy, Wayne Waterson, Zahra Haji, and Fath Ali Tehrani. There are also instrumental part contributions from Ben Walker, Chinor Silber band, Jack Harris, Jamie Hyatt, Tess & Harry Goldstein, and Xav Clarke. Along with random voice messages from Jonah Falco, Jordan Ruble, and Kyri Tsappas that are personal and private giving us a glimpse of what the artist’s world is like.
Apart from his solo career, Goldstein also is part of the Jet Ski world duo band, Dream Division, Jade Hairpins, and an occasional country show on Margate radio station. He is touring across the UK for shows promoting his new album and sharing his music and passion with a large crowd of people who are going through the same emotions he is.
The album is an outcome of personal experiences, traumas, and struggles the artist went through those past 2 years; between lockdown, overwhelming emotions, and both his parents’ passing during the pandemic, Goldstein processed his grief and emotions in the way he knows best, through his music. “Sailin” is a combination of avant-garde, unexpected elements and sounds combined creating a hyper pop, bizarre, expressive sound. It’s not a sound you will come across frequently.
The album was mastered by Dean McCarthy at ATCM Mastering and was released by Beanie Tapes who released a limited-edition double cassette tape. Check out the artist’s Instagram account for info on his tour dates and the album launch show.
