Brooklyn-based American producer, writer, and guitarist Aoun has been working with some great artists around New York City and the world…now, he’s starting his own musical and lyrical journey with an upcoming album-and with “Smoker’s Cough” being his second single off of the album to be released…an impeccable acoustic journey that has a very unique vibe to it…

“Smoker’s Cough” is a gorgeous sounding, emotionally charged, and powerful short but focused acoustic song that has very prominent storytelling elements…it could transcend being a song and could be described as musical and lyrical storytelling…

Aoun describes his upcoming album as being “structured like a novel and storybook and aims to provide a narrative of my year with a previous lover through all the tribulations that were faced. This single (Smoker’s Cough) is the final song on the album and takes a retrospective as well as forward look at the aftermath and feelings of loneliness.”

For “Smoker’s Cough”, Aoun is performing on all the instruments, however on the upcoming album there will be a band, consisting of Aoun (Guitar/Vocals), Guillermo Goldschmeid (Bass), Eli Fowler (Drums), Sean Brennan (Cello) and Tree Palmedo (Trumpet).

“Smoker’s Cough” was produced by Aoun, Dan Alvarez of the band TOLEDO (NY), and Estelle Allen (LA).

The single is full of emotions and relatable lyrics…the acoustic guitar shares the stage with Aoun’s vocal performance…and the song just shines bright.

Wishing all the best to the very talented Aoun. I can’t wait to experience the whole album when it comes out.

Cheers!
