British singer and songwriter Stacey Jackson have been on a success roll with her singles “Flipside” and “Urgent”…and after releasing her anthemic pop hit “Soldier”…Stacey decides to move away from the the fast beats of pop and create a very fresh take on “Soldier” but through an amazing acoustic arrangement and performance.
“Soldier – Acoustic Version” dropped last month along with an extremely polished and artistically shot music video, further establishing her musical persona and presence in different genres and with different musical vibes…also, “Soldier” serves as a teaser for her upcoming album “Super Woman”, building on the foundation of empowerment and freedom of self-expression, Jackson aims to challenge the narrative and inspire positive change.
The acoustic version of “Soldier” has Stacey delivering some of her most emotionally charged performances, with soaring vocals against the sounds of the piano, cello and the amazing backing vocals.
The music video captures moments from the recording process of this acoustic experience, with shots varying from Stacey’s brilliant performance and the amazing performance of the musicians, with the occasional appearing of the studio crew…it makes you feel like you were there with them, which is something very cool…it’s emotional, cozy and very inspiring.
Stacey spoke on the single, saying that “We all have different characters to ourselves, wearing multiple hats and what feels like different lives at times! However, no matter who you are to people, you are always and only you for yourself. And there is only one real you. In every scenario, you must be your own soldier. We all have to be true to ourselves no matter who is counting on us because we could never be a great parent, great at our jobs, a great sibling, friend or partner until we are true to ourselves.”
With inspiring lyrics, emotional musical arrangement, excellent and catchy melodies, you can’t go wrong with this acoustic release of Stacey Jackson’s “Soldier”…make sure to check it out.
We wish Stacey and all those who were involved in the production all the best in life…looking forward to hearing more from the brilliant artist.
Cheers!
