Ingmar King, the Boston-based artist just released his single “The Times We Had”…a very cinematic pop entry that sounds bigger than life…

“The Times We Had” is a cinematic opus, it transcends the concept of a pop song in almost all aspects…musically, it blends aspects of the soundtrack, a musical play, and a pop song all together to make something…unreal, an epic musical experience.

The song starts focusing on Ingmar’s mountainous gritty vocals that can reach soaring highs, along with a very emotional piano-centric approach…only to keep building up till the ending part…

…oh the ending part of “The Times We Had”… takes you to the realm of the greats, like Queen…the song exploded in a very huge sounding magnum opus of electric guitars, drums, and a huge orchestral bang.

Ingmar is an absolute game changer, he’s a disruptor…he changes the playing field…and he’s winning big on his own musical terms.

Ingmar’s vocals are a sight…to be heard, an absolute vocal monster that can literally play and convey any emotion with his voice…his range is…everything.

Ingmar’s vocal mojo is like an IMAX cinema intro…it can take you from the drop of a needle to the thunderous roars of jet planes…it does.

The song also drops with a music video…on par with the musicality of the song, the video has absolutely high levels of production quality…and a very emotional story, it’s akin to a short movie, or a movie for a song that encapsulates the whole story and puts it into song and music video form. An amazing feat.

With a background in musical studies at Berklee College of Music, he challenged himself to create a song in 10 minutes…then turned into an hour…then it turned into “The Times We Had”.

Thank you Ingmar for this epic musical novel…we wish Ingmar all the best in life… Can’t wait to see what’s next for the amazing artist.

Cheers!
