With its dynamic beats, chill tempo, vocal and instrumental restraint, and superb production, a massive lot of musical value has been squeezed into this song’s typically short runtime, making it practically impossible to get enough with just one go.
The fantastic blend between afro beats and latin melodic cues create an immersive atmosphere that kept pulling me in throughout my listens. I honestly stopped listening when I absolutely had something else to do. A terrific production job also sees its way to ‘Whine It’. Boasting of a slithering sub bass line that’s mixed in just right, and trap beats that are varied enough to keep things interesting but stable enough to provide a pulsing rhythmic backbone to the song, along with Intra’s heartful and pretty relaxed performance, we have something truly special with ‘Whine It’.
