15 Pop Albums Turned 10 in 2023!

Oh! It’s 2023 already and we cannot believe yet that some hits turned 10 years already! Can you imagine that songs like Get Lucky, Wrecking Ball, Royals, Roar, The Way, We Can’t Stop, among other hits, have been released a decade ago! Well, let’s recall together 15 pop albums that turned 10 years old in 2023! 

January 2013, the Canadian songwriting Justin Bieber released his third album, Believe Acoustic. The album went to number one on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, and the fourteenth studio album Passione by italian tenor Andrea Bocelli became seventh top 10 set on the Billboard 200 chart, by debuting at No. 2 with 94,000 copies sold. 

From February to May witnessed many successful albums that were acclaimed by critics and music fans alike. Josh Groban’s All That Echoes debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 145,000 copies in its first week. The album has sold 532,000 copies in the United States as of April 2015. The same month, witnessed the release of Michael Bublé eighth album To Be Loved, the album featured many hits including covers and original songs. The album was produced by the veteran rock/metal producer Bob Rock. ‘To Be Loved’ became Bublé’s fourth consecutive album to reach number one in the U.S. Billboard 200. In May, Demi Lovato released her fourth album, Demi. According to Wikipedia; “The album debuted at number three on the US Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 110,000 copies. It has since sold 490,000 digital copies in the US and been certified Gold by the RIAA.”

Marc Anthony’s 3.0 released his ninth album in July, 2013. The album hit was a cover song for KhaledC’est la vie. The song is titled as “Vivir Mi Vida” (“Live My Life”) and performed as a salsa tune. The album was nominated for Album of the Year and won Best Salsa Album at the 2014 Latin Grammy Awards.

September and October of 2013, were very competitive in the market however, they were very pleasing for the fans. The pop-swing queen, Gloria Estefan released her 13th Grammy nominated album, The Standards, and the goddess of pop Cher released her twenty-fifth studio album, Closer to the Truth. Woman’s World lead single from the album ranked number 1 at number one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs. 

The new generations at that time Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry albums debuted atop the US Billboard 200, Bangerz and Prism albums sold more than 250,000 copies in the first week. 

November that year witnessed the highest competition; Celeine Dion, Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, Robbie Williams, and Britney Spears! All these big names ranked from the top 5 in the US Billboard 200.
