When you talk about places on earth that has some of the most unique histories ever, you’d surely say India…ancient, mystical, iconic, charismatic and absolutely stands unique on all fronts, from architecture to art to dance to music…and no better way to present a new dimension and wave of Indian art than through the eclectic ancient and cutting edge fusion album “Mantra’s Album 1” by Indian artists Indian Trap & SJ Jananiy.
Mantra’s Album 1 is the mix we didn’t expect but in dire need of to broaden our musical horizons and open up our musical spirits…the album creates a hybrid musical mood of the ancient and folkloric chants and mantras of the old with the new wave of trap and electro to create a musical experience that we couldn’t have imagined.
The album takes us on a journey that goes through almost all of the human emotional spectrum…from the mysterious, to the melancholic to the soothing to the upbeat.
Not only does the album sound and feel absolutely amazing, but within its tracklist of 17 songs it does something brilliant…it creates a chanting musical experience for each of the 7 chakras…so every couple of songs we’re introduced to a chakra track…something to open up our souls and take us on an out of body experience.
Mantra’s Album 1 is made us of almost exclusively iconic songs…but some of them really got us flabbergasted like the upbeat rhythms and anthemic melodies of “Saraswati Mantra”, the vocal layers is mind blowing, the melodic are beautifully poignant and the overall energy of the song would make it an instant hit.
…while a song like “Lakshmi Mantra” really hits hard with its 808 and fusion rhythms that combine the Indian tabla and the electronic drums…with a melancholic tone to its musical composition, this one hits hard.
“Kali Mantra” might be the most cutting edge sounding fusion song here with its more avant-garde trap approach with exotic melodies and musical transitions…
“Mantra’s Album 1” is a musical experience that shouldn’t be missed at all costs…actually, go check it out right now…
We wish all the best to the brilliant artists behind this artistic achievement, Indian Trap & SJ Jananiy you are amazing.
Can’t wait to hear what you’re cooking up next.
Cheers!
