Beats of Christmas by T.A.P

The African Project, also known as T.A.P. is an organization in Lagos, Nigeria, founded by two independent artist, one American and one African, who share the desire of bringing a global opportunity to African musicians…with this great initiative, they have been gracing the world with some excellent music and great musicians, singer, songwriter and producers…and today, it’s about their latest single “Beats of Christmas” that’s being performed by Debbie Anthony…a completely unique take on what a Christmas song is or feels like…absolutely brilliant.

“Beats of Christmas” is a one of a kind xmas song…firstly, its thumping 808 kick is absolutely smashing…the electronic upbeat pop synth elements are strong with this one, and of course the afro beats fusion is minimal, yet stunning…catchy, dancey and powerful.

When you take all of that and infuse Debbie’s vocals on top, you’ve got yourself perhaps the first Afro-electro-dance Christmas song…

The vocals here are excellent on two levels actually, the first one is Debbie’s vocals and performance…that is perfect…

…the other level is the vocal harmonies, it’s actually mind blowing, it elevates the whole experience and takes it into the anthemic realm.

“Beats of Christmas” is one of a kind, musical, dancy, warm and anthemic…it has everything to hook you from its first second…

“Beat’s of Christmas” is the excellent outcome of collaboration between producer Akanni Temiyato, lyricist Cynthia Ann Sladek, guitarist Udeme Akpan Ini and of course Debbie Anthony on the vocals.

We wish all the best to T.A.P. with their initiatives and of course to the awesome Debbie Anthony with her mesmerizing vocal performance in “Beats of Christmas” and the whole team.

Make sure you check it out right away…and wishing the whole a warm, cozy and merry Christmas.

Cheers!
