LA artist Corbin Dooley releases his third album through Bikini Wax Records ‘Rocksteady’…and from this album, we’re checking “Breathe Deep”…an absolute dreamy ethereal experience that feels like you’re exhaling all your bad thoughts…it’s the longest exhale breath you’ll experience…and need.
For this album and this record to come out…a lot of people put their souls and life energy into it…
The whole album features a wide range of huge musical talents and collaborators, including James Saez, Antonio Sol, Brian Lopez, Eddie Moore, Barbara Schucko, Sam Platt, Nadir Omowale, DeAndre Manning, Luke John, and Dawn…and let’s not forget the amazing choir of friends and family, recorded at EastWest Studios in Hollywood, CA…with the last polishing phases and mastered by Emily Lazar and Chris Allgood.
The whole album was Produced and mixed by Nick Poortman.
such great collaboration is very evident when you check out the final results…and “Breath Deep” is such a ride…
“Breathe Deep” starts with the rhythmic guitar along with a soundbite of pad sounds and Corbin’s meditative vocals…along with a guided lyrical experience that sucks you into this world that was crafted especially for every one of us experiencing the song…
Even when the percussive elements join us in this experience, it still keeps it subtle in a way that it doesn’t disturb the meditative and ethereal experience…instead, it acts like a locomotive, driving us forward through this dreamy world.
“Breathe Deep” keeps your emotions and energy stable throughout the whole experience…it’s one of those songs that has a mood-enhancing effect.
The whole experience that’s in front of us here with Corbin Dooley’s “Breathe Deep” is a relaxing and meditative one, much needed, especially in these times we live in…
…when everything around you is going to dust…just remember, “Breathe Deep”.
Wishing Corbin and all the talents that worked on this experience the best, you guys are awesome and you deserve the best.
Cheers!
