Hailing all the way from the other side of the world, Darcy Kate will have you dancing with folk goodness with her new single “Dorothy”. This is the fourth single she’s released, which will all be a part of her upcoming debut album, set to be released soon this summer 2022.
The dreamy folk guitar, paired with Darcy’s soothing voice, is what gets me in this song. You can’t help but to feel cheerful to the joyful beat and merry lyrics about friendship, it just puts an instant smile on your face.
Though it’s no surprise that this track sounds stunning, with the song being produced by STONEWAX, who has produced for the likes of Ziggy Alberts and Deer Donan.
All in all, I give this track 5/5 stars. The danceability of this song far exceeds anything I’ve personally heard, not to mention the happy state of mind this song puts you in, almost a hypnotic state of delight.
