Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L drags you to his world of effortlessly flowing, profound lyricism and smooth, charismatic singing in his latest EP, “B4,” which may be considered your toxic treat EP.

The EP has eight tracks with well-structured production, engaging beats, and a snappy fusion of R&B, Hip-Hop, Emo Rap, Trap, and Electro elements. The bold, straightforward lyricism is not easy to agree with, but some may find them relatable, and most can’t deny how their exquisite rhyming is appealing. Vocally, Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L has raw, charismatic, and raspy vocal lines.

“Caskets” opens off the EP with an enticing intro. Once the intro makes you pay attention, Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L enters with his serious savage performance and lyrics that fit the song’s title and make a perfect introduction to Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L’s artistic characteristics and to what’s coming in the rest of the EP. The next song, “Mr. Bright Eyes,” makes you sway with its grooves. The beats are catchy and mash well with the polished vocals. The lyrics lean towards being dark and explicit.

Picking up the pace in “Taurus,” featuring Michael Christmas. The bar after another flows naturally to fit with the hazy melody and dynamic percussion as buzzle parts that combine to give you the whole picture. “Protocol,” “In My Shoes,” and “T.D.I.M,” which features Kodie Shane, are the singles with the energetic rhythms, fast pace, and enticing sing-along attitude. Each has its own vibes, composition, and solid lyricism, but you can feel the peppy ambiance in all of them with the electro elements, top-notch hip-hop, and edgy touch.

The best has been saved for last. The EP’s lead single, “K.O.H,” is the standout track and the one that gets played on repeat. It’s irresistible, with lyrics that depict love and attraction from an unusual perspective. It has a music video that makes you feel like you’re seeing Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L from both the inside and outside. The EP concludes with “B.E.C (Baconeggandcheese).” The EP may have started with a mellow base, but as it progresses it takes us on a stormy wave, and in this track the wave gets higher with the Trap bouncy beats.

The Brooklyn-based artist has outdone himself and made an EP that makes you ditch your favorite adrenaline-pumping playlist for a while and replace it with “B4.”
