Austrian singer/songwriter Bernadette Dengler and Dutch drummer/ composer/ producer Hans-Peter formed a duo in the covid shutdown in 2020 Dee & d’Z and came up with a jazz single “Flow” that was released on 09/09/22.

The song starts out with a jazz trio of piano, drums, and bass which gives the jazzy vibe as the song starts. Dee comes in with her warm expressive voice singing about “going with the flow” as soon she says “it takes you to where you should be” the groove is instantly changed, and backing vocals are introduced which gives the song a sense of liveness and continuity. As the song goes back to the intro groove the brass section is introduced giving the section a whole new dimension assisted by dee backing vocals keeping the listener interested and wanting more. Again, the words “you are exactly where you are meant to be” are the key for the song to take the energized groove with the brass fueling it. A beautiful guitar solo is played as we reach the end of the song transitioning into the outro that has an interesting take on it by fading the music out while leaving the vocals and piano in your ears as she says “just let it flow” it’s a very impactful ending. The correlation between the music and the lyrics makes the song a continuing piece of art.
