Clare Easdown is tackling depression and mental health disorders in her latest single “I Break”…trying to be the light at the end of the tunnel…giving people hope and making them feel heard and seen.
“I Break” is the result of a collaboration between Clare Easdown and producer Jeremy Burns after they met on Instagram…it was recorded between Sydney and Newcastle, and it has a very strong electronic presence with the use of synths and hard beats…it’s a dark tuned song that tackles a dark topic…
The music production is top-notch, very melodic, very dark, highly polished musical trip…and Clare is putting her soul into the vocal lines, with every bit of emotion of the topic being very real and very palpable.
This is a very courageous artistic step from Clare and Jeremy, taking such a heavy topic as depression and converting it into a sonic world with all the details of the mind shining through.
We can’t wait to see what Clare comes up with next, we’re wondering what kind of topic will she be tackling next.
