VISION is an artist who glows up in Adelaide, Australia. She released a full album called “In My Own World,” which was produced and issued on the 6th of May, 2022. Showing off her great talent by telling us her story through music and her tempting lovely beats. I like how she blurts out her story in the form of those simple titles. She has rapped flawlessly throughout her album.
She’s been bombing us with awesome tracks since 2020, with different aesthetics of music she uses like “Loyalty” and “Catching Feelings.” However, she seems to always create great tracks with her own lyrics and fights through to rap about how society does us wrong.
Compared to those singles and the currently released album “In My Own World,” it has a different and unique vibe to it and understands more of the struggles she went through during her life and shines out with a great song about how strong she changed and stands her ground in the track “Exotic,” showing off her greatness and her ability to come out glamorous.
The track that stood out the most for me is “Lost,” as 2020 was a really hard year for a lot of people during that time and a lot of losses. She depicted the agony and effort of healing in her lyrics; “Couldn’t sleep right, cried all night, tried to get them back, this is payback. I move for them now, to make them proud. They can not speak up, so I’m the speaker. You cannot keep up, cuz I’m the keeper, so what I reap up, yeah, I am the reaper. Look for the truth, cuz I am a seeker, part of the youth, but, I am a creeper.” I felt the people she lost were so close to her and, as she mentioned in her EPK, it was dedicated to two of her friends (Ronald Mafara and Bradley Streeter), -God may bless their souls.-
I would highly recommend listening to this slamming album, “In My Own Head.” The artist opens up her heart and feelings and gets you deep into listening to her writing skills in every track she worked on with her mind and soul, and that inspired her to continue producing more heartfelt songs.
