Just what does happiness sound like, on a sunny day, with folks out on the street, singing for a new day full of wonder and hope? Ninni seems to have found something very close to the answer.

Ninni is a Naples, Italy-based musician and multi-instrumentalist who’s exploring virtually uncharted territories by himself on this release. A cute doo-wop tune, all with barbershop quartet vocals, finger snaps, and choral vocals, the whole bunch! The sounds are incredibly warm and earthy, the mix is intimate and relatively quiet. The vocals are shaky and vulnerable in a relatable way. The backing vocals are jumpy, rhythmic, and very vintage sounding. The percussion is entirely delivered courtesy of jubilant finger snaps. A sound that’s equally summery, intimate, joyous, and familiar.

Ninni seems to have dialed in an ancient formula and managed to pull off something that’s familiar and sweet and truly capable of bringing joy. Simple, Efficient, and heartfelt.
