Cincinnati singer-songwriter Lydia Shae has been performing across the Midwest for over a decade, alongside her brand comprised of Josh Belcher (guitarist), Zach Sabatelli (drums/percussion), and Andrew Baughman (bass). As her performances have continued, Lydia has developed a unique fusion of folk-pop and indie, taking root in bluegrass and inspired by Taylor Swift, Brandi Carlile and The Avett Brothers.

Recently emerging out of her home area with single releases ‘Gold Ring’ and ‘Comfort Queen’, Lydia has now unveiled her debut album Decade Diaries. Stringing together a balance of delicate atmospheres, passionate folk and rock-tinged grit, Lydia works through emotional arrangements across the project, each song filled with heartfelt lyricism and intricately poignant instrumentation. Pushing the boundaries of her folk-pop core, Lydia stays true to the authenticity of the moment, unrestricted in her creativity, which makes her music all the more enticing.

Lydia comments on the meaning behind the album, “Decade Diaries is an album that compresses a coming-of-age era of autobiographical writing. From finding love, experiencing loss, and discovering yourself, it’s all in there.”
