Jubilant and festive, Gianfranco GFN’s latest single ‘Sing the Song’ is a bustling piece of jazzy pop with cinematic proportions.

From its rich horn stabs, deep groove, busy mix, and general cheerfulness, ‘Sing the Song’ is an exceptionally warm new release from the Swiss composer, guitarist, and songwriter based in the city of Bienne. Hollywood-inspired, ‘Sing the Song’ would be a perfect fit for a musical. With its dance-friendly rhythms and vocal twists and turns from Vladimir Carbone and Alma Cirluzo, the ever-dynamic experience of ‘Sing the Song’ is complemented by a busy drum part courtesy of Nicolas Pittet, and a grandiose, dramatic horn section led by Ediamed N’cho’s trumpet, and Jean-Paul Assale’s trombone.

Very easygoing, ‘Sing the Song’ has a simplistic composition that’s effortlessly accessible, further adding to the song’s massive pop appeal, and with the aforementioned drum part that’s bombastic, we end up with a quite happy piece of music about letting go and taking a breath of fresh air, and about forgetting about the problems of reality if even for the runtime of this one song.

Gianfranco GFN’s bold musical ambitions make ‘Sing the Song’ feel dramatic and sound grandiose. Backed by an ensemble of terrific musicians, it is no wonder ‘Sing the Song’ is such a warm, effervescent piece of pop that’ll easily put a smile on your face.
