Washington DC-based artist Kelsie Kimberlin releases the third song in her peace-bringing musical trilogy, titled “Turn Back”, Kelsie aims to bring her musical and lyrical talents to spark peace in Ukraine, she gives it her all to achieve this…and it’s a big step to bring people together, that’s for sure.

Approaching such a heavy topic as war is not an easy thing, even talking about the war could prove challenging to be performed humanely…not to mention, writing a song that evokes emotions and that could eventually influence people, in the best way possible…for the sake of the innocent lives, the kids and the global welfare of humans, anywhere, anytime…doesn’t matter your background, race, religion, people are people and all of humanity deserves the right to live.

Going to the music side of this journey, it’s beautifully complicated, from an emotional point of view, just as life itself…it takes more of a ballad approach but leans heavily on storytelling making it a pop ballad but with a strong movie soundtrack kind of vibe…which I love.
The powerful arrangement hits the bullseye right in the feels…the string section is perfectly and minimally utilized to maximum effect…
…the piano is leading along with the vocal melodies sounding stunning…
…the beat is both powerful and mellow somehow, covering a wide range of emotions on its shoulders…
…all elements in “Turn Back” work magnificently together to create an unprecedented experience…an experience that shouldn’t be missed at any cost.
