Artist Chris Mcconville based in London, UK releases a dreamy and heartfelt song called ‘You on the brain’, remixed in a psychedelic, grunge attitude on the 2nd of December, as a wrap-up to this year’s work. The song follows his most successful song on Spotify, ‘ The walking home’ Nunny boy remix. Chris himself produces original songs, after being a drummer in an indie band, and loves to blur the lines between indie and electronica, while also blending rock and dance elements. This is certainly some of Chris’s best traits in his music production, and he also sings, which is a huge plus in leading his own emotions fully from sound to vocals, giving us the final piece on a silver platter.
If the song is too good, it’s because of how Chris creates this love song in such a way that is intense through the electric guitar riffs and dreamy soundscape that also makes you want to dance till death! The song is heartfelt, dynamic, and friendly. The overall sound of the song is relaxing, chill, and enjoyable in every aspect. It’s edgy and cool and still manages to make you feel like rainbows and sunshine. There is an amazing, subtle positivity in the tone of the music. The musical arrangement is very rich and exciting, with a breezy, and mellow soundscape, and synthy and magical sound effects all with a dance vibe to it. Also, the song has elements that feel very nostalgic to the rock music that was made during the end of the 80s. All in all, the scratchy and grunge vibe on the song largely gives undertones of chill vibes. The vocals are soft-spoken, simple, and raw. We can’t wait to hear what more Chris can offer to the world.
