Thehiz, the Ethiopian-born, alternative Rock-Pop solo artist, songwriter, and producer, releases his second single, ‘All My Love,‘ after releasing the emerging track ‘Submarine.’
‘All My Love’ recites a bit of advice given to himself on letting go of the dark past and moving on with life towards an abstract future.
The track holds a 90’s disco Rock-pop vibe, which lays concrete dancing rhythms along with a clear meaningful track.
Keyboard pop melodies and the beat drop along with distorted bass lines give the track an authentic theme and make you feel as if your ears are familiar with it.
Thehiz’s vocals are astonishing, moving between keys and running over high pitched notes and low ones, serving the lyrical theme of the track.
The lyrics were expressive and chose simplicity over complexity to redefine the simple relationship of brotherhood.
I’m considering this track as a hit; I can picture myself eating a big mac combo at McDonald’s and this track hitting off, or maybe playing an EA Sports game and this is the soundtrack theme playing.
‘All My Love’ is a bit close in sound to ‘Submarine’ –the previously released track by Thehiz– in keyboards and vocal pitch, but frankly I liked ‘All My Love’ more.
