As they prepare for their self-titled debut record that’ll be out via MARS Label Group, the rocking duo Jane Leo dropped their latest single “Big Life” on the 20th of October, 2022. “Big Life” shows Jan Leo’s energy and how they can fuse their influences into something unique, pushing Jane Ellen Bryant and Daniel Leopold‘s collaboration even further. Let me tell you more about it.

Jane Leo kickstarts “Big Life” with a retro 80s intro and confident vibes that matches the song’s attitude. Its playful groovy fat bass, melodic keys, subtle guitars, and smoothly progressing vocal melody, projects loads of energy and uplifting vibes. The diverse vocal delivery was impressive, with changes and harmonies at the perfect timing, spicing things up and giving the listener an extremely expressive experience. “Big Life” has a smoothly dynamic structure that makes each and every instrumental contribution count, from the groovy crunchy bass to the vocal melody’s arrangement and synth, guitar, and keys melodies writing.

“Big Life” has a smooth ramp progression, it just keeps getting bigger and catchier as it goes until it takes over control making you put it on repeat. Jane Leo approached this with full force, flexing their songwriting abilities and great sense of mood and melody, and showing their diversely creative direction. I will definitely be keeping an eye on Jane Leo, looking forward to more, cheers!
