Swedish rock group The Connecting Dots releases their latest 80s rock inspired song “Dancing On Water Lilies”…a song that quenches our thirst for the nostalgic mood.
Led by charismatic singer Helena Sundstrom, The Connecting Dots started out as a dream pop project but with every release the band turns more and more into a live oriented rock band with bigger choruses and huge anthemic performances.
“Dancing On Water Lilies” is a three-minute indie pop banger with a big chorus and a big heart. Exploring the desire to stay at a party, the dark side of life, and the inevitable end of the party…
The music is a mix of some awesome synthesizers, like the Juno 106 and great and versatile guitar playing.
Helena’s Vocals caught our spirit…moving elegantly from a smooth performance to a soaring melodic high…brilliant.
