Independent label © M3TIN Records releases “Intahat Hikayatna” (“Our Story Is Over”), out now on all major streaming platforms, the Levantine Arabic voice of a story built to cross borders.
The project works in a way few artists attempt. The story was written in Turkish as “Sayfa Kapandı” and deliberately left unreleased. It was sent into the world first: released in Kazakh in May as “Hikaya Ayaqtaldy,” and now reborn in Levantine Arabic. The Turkish original will come home last, after its family has traveled the world a strategy the label calls “homecoming last”: start global, become local everywhere, save home for the finale.
For the Arabic voice, the adaptation was built in the Levantine register the Arabic of everyday heartbreak from Beirut to Amman with imagery and phrasing chosen for how the region actually speaks about endings. The release is accompanied by two distinct visual works: a cinematic short-form journey moving from house to desert to sea, and a mirror-concept film on YouTube with slow-cinema pacing.
Each version in the M3TIN catalog is a native adaptation, never a translation, never a different song. The story, the emotions, and the melodic heart stay the same; only the way they are spoken changes, because every culture says goodbye differently. Every line is confirmed by a native speaker before a single note is released.
Across the multilingual campaign, teaser videos have surpassed 5.7 million views, with the Arabic teaser alone exceeding 1.8 million views and strong traction across Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and the wider Arab world.
© M3TIN Records is open about how the music is made: the studio uses the instruments of its century, including AI, and hides none of them. Every lyric and every creative decision is an original work by founder Ahmet Metin Oktay, who leads the machines the way a conductor leads an orchestra. “The brush isn’t the painter,” the label’s manifesto reads. “Judge us by the work not by the chisel.”
One artist. Many voices. Every M3TIN song is born native in its own language, and then it chooses its path. Some remain in a single language; others are reborn as native adaptations across Kazakh, Arabic, Khmer, French, Portuguese and Spanish. The traveling songs run the map backwards: most artists start local and dream of going global; these started global, and the Turkish originals come home last, in 2027.
