You may have gone to space by watching films such as Interstellar, The First Man, Ad Astra, Gravity, and other stories about what life and situations are like in space, but through music, Adam Ragsdale will take us on a journey through his new album “Moon, Part One” which is The first half of a 20-track album.
Ragsdale’s maiden flight consists of 11 40-minute itineraries, short of Earth’s life but worth a lot in space as “Moon, Part One” takes us, with romantic and emotional elements that combine dream/space and reality/land.
Love and space or love of space or the moon and honey, all of this made Ragsdale mix to give us pieces of space on fun pop music, this album is a reflection of true love that looks like the moon in the difficulty of access to anyone because it requires sacrifice and a lot of challenge, courage and perhaps risk.
Most noticeable in “Moon, Part One,” the space melody and quiet, romantic vocals, Ragsdale uses piano keys and stringed instruments like violin and guitar, which he uses as a backdrop for poetic lyrics that gently touch your heart, making the journey through the tracks so much more enjoyable that our reality is hard to find.
The “10” introductory opening successfully served its purpose, providing a lot of musical elements to the album and its purpose, “Flora’s Letter.” When Ragsdale arrived in space he wrote to his sweetheart on the piano keys she hears in heavy atmospheres, “maybe love will seep through like gravity for you.” It’s a psychedelic song full of romance.
“Dreamworks” album is more active now, Ragsdale has used piano keys and strings to push energy and vitality to us to feel the heat of the earth/reality in dream/space, he sings on the moon while talking to his sweetheart” I’ll keep dreaming, She said oh, “I’ll keep us breathing, So we’ll take it all up” surprises us with a sharp guitar at the 2nd minute and 34th minute, bringing us to the top of the track and then back again and ending the track with a dream.
The piano is still dominant, but here the guitar is strongly supported in this romantic movie scene that Ragsdale talks about in “The Hollywood Lovers”, as it features two stars from the Hollywood sky who fall in love, but in their way.
A Trip to Paris, To the painter, from the poet, To the painter, from the poet, and Mine! Itineraries steeped in romance, sweet pop music, and a hypnotic, soothing lyric performance, but perhaps “Mine!” differs somewhat in the rhythm that comes from an era in the ‘80s and ‘90s shaped in the cool Ragsdale style.
The album continues to provide music that is seriously suitable for cinematic scenes in space. Feel, hear and imagine with the music presented by Ragsdale that everything around you has changed and the emptiness has become dominant, but it is filled with feelings of love.
“Moon, Part One,” which has taken more than three years to work, is a beautifully articulated dialogue between Adam Ragsdale and his girlfriend, filled with compelling similes and imagery, that makes us feel emotional about the experience of space.
From this place on earth, I invite you to enjoy this journey and we hope that you will add it to your favorites, and I eagerly await with you the second flight that Adam Ragsdale will release soon.
