Today I’ll be reviewing Khaki Fever’s third release, “Steppin free.” Khaki Fever is a retro-pop duo hailing from London, Th United Kingdom. At the first listen to the song, I was amazed at how cheerful and uplifting it is! I felt like my soul instantly got better. The song talks about the power of now and how you should live in the present, and honestly, just listening to the song makes me want to forget all my troubles and just enjoy this sweet, groovy tune.
The track is groovy and almost ethereal, with just 3 minutes and 21 seconds of sheer optimism! The track garnered almost 6,000 streams on Spotify, and rightfully so. Sam’s soothing vocals, in addition to Gio’s technical mastery, make this the go-to song for this summer!
All in all, this track is one of my favorites and I’ll definitely add it to my playlist of songs to listen to at the beach.
