“The Fall” by Gy0 is a dark electronic track for industrial-loving psychonauts
Gy0 released the experimental electronic single “The Fall” from his upcoming EP “Everything and Everyone at Once” on the 18th of January from Italy.
While some people dig deep into their psyche, others dig even deeper. Listening to Gy0’s “The Fall” is like stepping into a realm of madness-fuelled genius. “The Fall” is not for the weak of mind or the easily disturbed amongst listeners, so proceed with caution.
There are droning notes underneath overlapping vocals, where everything feels like it doesn’t fit, yet found itself in this place. “The Fall” is a dark pit where notes and emotions fall in, and if you fall here as well, I hope you enjoy the darkness and the rare realness of it all.
Gy0 calls it “a love letter to UK Garage,” but I think what we can hear her is much more than that. This letter is a confession of a deep obsession, and anyone who knows the genre can hear the enveloping influence of it in Gy0’s music.
“The Fall” is dark and transcendental way beyond what listeners of the genre may be typically used to hearing. I believe that, in it, resides a part of Gy0’s very soul, and a side of him that few artists dare to show.
