SENTO recently released the smooth grooves of his new EP ‘Delirium’, the project previously garnering attention with teaser single  ‘Impulse Control’ winning an award at the Swiss Music Industry Summit, m4music. The Swiss-Norwegian producer uses the project to continue creating a dreamy blend of rich electronica and natural musicianship.

After opening with simultaneously laid-back and dynamic rhythms of ‘Impulse Control’, the project welcomes audiences in ‘Mind’, the funk-fuelled extravaganza that weaves its way into your bones and gets them moving. ‘Moonlight’ dives into a disco-house sound, bouncing through sleek bass lines and pulsating synths as the vocals sit into the movement. ‘The Way You Lie’ leans further into the gentle jazz influences with tight melodies and ethereal atmospheres both pushing and pulling one another, whilst ‘Too Easy’ brings in Josh Vincent for a fun and breezy pop-rap anthem. The album then closes with a full free-fall into the world of funk, with screaming synths, and pumping rhythms being injected by rich dance production.

SENTO explains the meaning of the release, sharing, ”This record encapsulates a state that I feel not only I, but many other people of my generation experienced in these last couple of years after the pandemic; A constant shift between depression and euphoria, a feeling of transience that somehow feels tragical and relieving at the same time. I found the term “Delirium” to be quite matching for that state. The project also touches on personal topics such as addiction, vices, heartbreak, love and friendship.”
