Washington based rapper, singer/songwriter and producer L!nwood just released his debut EP titled “Living Room”, a Hip-Hop experience with 5 songs that are sure to quench the thirst for new, fresh, unique and very charismatic musical experiences.

The EP tells the story of a kid learning to let go of fear and to embrace living in the moment through a genre-bending musical experience that fuses hip-hop, electro, pop, latin and more genres together in a very masterful act of balancing all these elements.

L!nwood explores many directions in “Living Room” and expertly so, making his music and songs appeal to a very wide spectrum of audiences…

…so, with “Into The Woods” you get a more electro pop based approach, while with “Controller” you get a more hip-hop approach, but with a modern twist.

“Aladdin” has so much heart in it and once again captures the essence of the old school but puts a modern twist on it..and the vocal performance is very expressive and melodic here…

“Hear Me Now” is energetic and thumping…and this variety and diversity in the album makes L!nwood reach more people and connect with more audiences.

The last song “Revive” is a heartfelt experience that marks the end of the album…and it is masterfully placed here.

It’s a very anthemic, emotional and huge sounding pop ballad that will leave you wanting more and more.

This is why we can’t wait for L!nwood’s next release.

 You don’t need to be well-versed in old Shakespearean literature to enjoy Jasi Bella’s latest single. Written from the perspective of the woman Romeo loved before she met Juliet, ‘Rosaline’ is Jasi Bella’s account of literature’s oldest petty ex.

Based in London, Jasi Bella is a singer and songwriter of the most crystalline and peppy pop. Witty, friendly, full of character and color, and easy to love. Jasi Bella twisting vocal line drips with acrobatics and capable chops, showcasing a talented singer, and her lyrics, sarcastic and funny, with the song’s playful chord progressions, showcase a capable songwriter. The lyrical direction also is dripping with imagination. Visualizing Romeo and Juliet in a petty love triangle is neat, and the words are not devoid of sophisticated imagery. Not that the words are entirely fantastical though, as Romeo and Juliet were teenagers basically.

‘Rosaline’, as expected for the genre, is gorgeously produced. With punchy drums and colorful synths, alongside Jasi Bella’s quirky vocal delivery, create a mix that, while essentially pop, easily stands out. ‘Rosaline’ is a punchy piece of summertime pop with a classical twist that makes it easy to pick from the bunch.

Silent Ivy comes from a very supportive community that really has been there from the start and along every step of the way…and apparently, everything that has affected Silent Ivy from the very beginning is a huge contributor to the charismatic presence that they’ve acquired by now…and they’re just starting out…

…but when you listen to Silent Ivy, it doesn’t feel like this is an artist just starting out, the experience is very charismatic, with a very unique sound, flow, and presence, Silent Ivy is a force to be reckoned with.

The vocal flow and performance that graces the audience is a very charismatic one, very steady, consistent, and unique, and doesn’t sound like anyone.

…also, on the other side, the music and beats are very catchy and hold extremely well with a mix of old-school brass hip-hop and some 80s keys with modern-sounding bass and beats.

Taking a very unique fusion between the old and the new, the original and the modern…fusing retro and the current hip-hop/rap elements to create a new wave of musical experience.

The music is very melodic, and so is the vocal performance…”Lightwork” hits an almost perfect bullseye from the first throw.

…and all of that emotional energy is wrapped in a 2 minutes 9 seconds song…so it’s a very concentrated dose…and every second counts and does impact the experience greatly.
